Confidential Tax Defense Review
The case begins with a clear reading of the risk.
You are not purchasing a promise. You are engaging experienced financial judgment. The review is a working session: the notices are read, the deadlines are identified, and the exposure is described in plain terms before anything is recommended.
The review may include
- Review of relevant IRS notices
- Identification of response deadlines
- Initial financial and filing assessment
- Discussion of immediate exposure
- Review of potentially applicable pathways
- Document and information checklist
- Defined next steps
- Engagement recommendation, when appropriate
What a given review covers depends on the documents and the facts. No review produces a completed resolution, a removed lien, a stopped enforcement action, or a guaranteed strategy.

Deadline-aware view
Deadlines matter. So does the strategy behind the filing.
An unresolved matter can move through recognizable stages. Not every case follows this sequence, and stages can be skipped, delayed, or reopened. The purpose of the sequence is clarity about where a matter sits and how much room remains.
IRS Notice
A notice arrives identifying an assessment, a proposed change, or a request for information. The notice number and date set the frame for everything that follows.
The first objective is clarity: what the IRS has done, what may happen next, and which options deserve serious consideration. Where a deadline is printed on a notice, that date usually governs which responses remain available.
Prompt professional review generally preserves more room to work. It does not guarantee any particular result, and no timeline can be promised in advance.
Who handles what
A complex engagement moves across the firm, not around it.
Work is allocated by what the matter actually requires. Select a function to see where it sits.

Reads the notices, establishes what the IRS has asserted, sets the sequence of the response, and decides what the engagement should and should not attempt.
